Affiliate disclosure
How CrateCodex uses /go/ affiliate links to marketplaces, which vendors we link, and why we never link to scams.
CrateCodex is reader-supported. Some outbound links to skin marketplaces are affiliate links: if you buy or sell through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This page explains exactly how that works and where the hard limits are.
How our links work
Every affiliate link on the site points to a /go/ path on our own domain, which redirects to the marketplace. That keeps every partner link in one audited list and lets us disclose them plainly. Affiliate links are marked as sponsored and never change what we document — the odds are Valve's, the prices are dated bands, and a commission has no say over either.
Who we link
Only established places to buy, sell, or trade skins and cases. As of September 2026 that list includes SkinBaron, DMarket, white.market, Tradeit, SkinSwap, Swap.gg, CS.TRADE, Lis-Skins, Skinport and CSFloat.
What we will never link
We may cover case-opening and skin-gambling sites, but we never link to scams. No commission changes that, or what we document. The reasoning is on our About page.
Independence
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation or any marketplace we link. If a partner ever pressured us to soften a fact, we would drop the partner, not the fact.
