Revolution Case (CS2): All 17 Skins, the 24 Clutch Gloves, Odds and Drop Status (2026)

Revolution Case (CS2): All 17 Skins, the 24 Clutch Gloves, Odds and Drop Status (2026)

The Revolution Case is a glove case: 17 community weapon finishes over a rare pool of 24 gloves borrowed from the Clutch Case. Valve shipped it on 9 February 2023, not 31 January as many databases (and an earlier version of this page) say. On 10 October 2026 it listed at $0.21 on the Steam Market, one of the cheapest containers in Counter-Strike 2.

This page is for anyone who wants to know exactly what is inside, what each item is worth, and whether it still drops. If you were hoping for a reason to open a stack of them, skip ahead to the cost chart: on average, one pair of gloves from this case costs about forty times what the cheapest glove in the pool lists for.

Revolution Case at a glance (checked 10 Oct 2026)

The headline facts first, each with where it comes from. Release date and contents come from Valve's own posts; the item list and float ranges come from the community item database that mirrors the game files; prices are the lowest listings on the day we checked.

All 17 skins by rarity, with price bands

Every price band below is the spread of Skinport's lowest non-StatTrak listing across the wears that exist for that skin, from the cheapest condition to Factory New, read on 10 October 2026. StatTrak copies cost more. The Mil-Spec and Restricted tiers trade for cents, the Classified trio for a few dollars, and the two Coverts sit in the tens of dollars. That spread is the whole story of a case: the items you are most likely to get are the ones worth least.

Two quirks are worth knowing. The MAC-10 | Sakkaku only exists from 0.21 to 0.79, so it cannot be Factory New or Minimal Wear at all. And the AWP | Duality was not in the original case: Valve's 15 February 2023 notes say it replaced the AWP | Doodle Lore six days after launch, which is why some early guides list a skin you cannot get.

The 24 gloves (shared with the Clutch Case)

Valve's launch post says it plainly: the Clutch Case gloves are the Revolution Case's "rare special items". That is six glove families with four finishes each: Driver Gloves, Hand Wraps, Hydra Gloves, Moto Gloves, Specialist Gloves and Sport Gloves. Every one of them has the same 0.06–0.80 float range, so no glove from this pool can be a true 0.00-float Factory New, and none goes all the way to 1.00.

The ceiling is much higher than the floor. The most expensive glove in the pool on the day we checked was a Factory New Sport Gloves | Vice at $6,129.82, against $402.86 for a Field-Tested pair. Specialist Gloves | Fade and Sport Gloves | Omega in Factory New both listed at $2,610.20. Those are single listings, not settled prices, which is why the cheapest copy of each family is the more useful number when you are deciding what to buy.

Odds, and what one glove costs on average

Valve has never published case odds on its English pages. The tier rates every guide quotes, Mil-Spec at 79.92%, Restricted at 15.98%, Classified at 3.20%, Covert at 0.64% and a rare special item at 0.26%, are the rates disclosed for the game's Chinese release in 2017 and are assumed to apply to every standard case. At 0.26%, a glove arrives about once every 385 openings on average, and some players will go far longer.

Each opening needs the case and a key. With the case at $0.21 and the US$2.49 key price players have reported for years (keys are sold in the client, not on the Market, so we could not re-check it), one opening costs about $2.70. Multiply by 385 and the average spend to reach one pair of gloves is roughly $1,040. The glove you get is chosen for you, and 16 of the 24 can be bought for under $100 in their cheapest condition.

Bar chart comparing four ways to get Revolution Case gloves: about $1,040 to open until one drops, $402.86 for Field-Tested Sport Gloves Vice, about $117 for five Coverts to trade up, and $26.98 for the cheapest glove.
Average cost of one glove by opening, against buying directly. Prices: Steam Market and Skinport lowest listings, read 10 Oct 2026; key price as reported, not re-verified.

If a particular pair of gloves is the goal, buying that pair directly is the honest route. Peer-to-peer markets list every family with its float, so you pay for one known item rather than for 385 chances at a random one. We list approved marketplaces such as SkinBaron and DMarket; compare the float and the fee before you pay.

Is the Revolution Case still in the drop pool?

Probably yes, but nobody can prove it from Valve, because Valve keeps the weekly Care Package's case list to itself. Both community trackers we checked list it as active: Skinbase names Revolution alongside Kilowatt, Dreams & Nightmares and the two terminals, and the SteamDB.com drop-pool page (updated 2 July 2026) also lists it. The two trackers disagree on other cases, which tells you how much of this is inference.

The price backs them up. A case that keeps arriving as a free weekly reward rarely climbs, and the Revolution Case sold 89,196 copies on the Steam Market in the 24 hours before our check, at $0.21: the profile of a container still being handed out. Cases tend to appreciate only after they stop dropping; our retired CS2 cases page covers that side.

Trade-ups: Coverts to gloves since October 2025

Since Valve's 22 October 2025 update, five regular Coverts can be turned into one knife or pair of gloves, picked from a collection that one of the inputs belongs to. For this case that means five Revolution Coverts can become one glove from the Clutch set. StatTrak Coverts only trade up into knives, because gloves never carry StatTrak.

The cheapest Revolution Covert we found was a Battle-Scarred AK-47 | Head Shot at $23.40, so the cheapest possible contract costs about $117. That is still far more than the $26.98 floor glove, and Valve does not publish which glove a contract will produce or how its output float is set. Community calculators exist, but treat their float maths as estimates rather than rules.

The update also explains the Coverts' prices. Before it, a Temukau or Head Shot was mainly a skin to use. Now it is also an input, and both Coverts list within a few dollars of each other in their worn conditions on Skinport, the flat floor you would expect when traders value them by what they can become.

Buy the skin, not the case

Everything in this case is available to buy on its own, and almost everything costs less than the expected bill for opening to it. A Field-Tested Temukau listed at $28.47, a Battle-Scarred AWP | Duality at $2.48, and the cheapest glove at $26.98, all on 10 October 2026. Valve's Trade Protection has made every CS2 trade reversible for seven days since July 2025, so peer-to-peer sellers often wait about a week before they are paid. Allow for that if you are buying something expensive.

For the same comparison across every current container, see the CS2 case catalogue. The Revolution Case's sibling for Broken Fang-era gloves is documented in the Recoil Case file, and the maths behind the 0.26% door is in knife and glove odds.

Edge cases and common mix-ups

  • Release date. 9 February 2023 is Valve's post. 31 January 2023 is the item-schema "first sale" date that databases copy; it is not when players could open the case.
  • Glove count. Some pages say six gloves. There are six families and 24 finishes.
  • Souvenir and StatTrak. There is no Souvenir Revolution item. StatTrak exists for the 17 weapon finishes only.
  • Regional rules. Valve's notes show unsealing rules differ in some countries (Belgium, the Netherlands and France for terminals), so check what your region allows before buying any container.

One more: price trackers often show a single "Revolution Case price" without a date. The case moves by cents from day to day, so any figure here or elsewhere is a snapshot. Ours is the Steam lowest listing on 10 October 2026.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Revolution Case still dropping?

Valve does not publish the drop pool, but both trackers we checked on 10 October 2026, Skinbase and the SteamDB.com drop-pool page, list the Revolution Case as active in the weekly Care Package. Its low price is consistent with that.

What gloves are in the Revolution Case?

The 24 Clutch Case gloves: four finishes each of Driver Gloves, Hand Wraps, Hydra Gloves, Moto Gloves, Specialist Gloves and Sport Gloves, including the Sport Gloves | Vice. There are no knives.

When did the Revolution Case come out?

Valve released it on 9 February 2023. The 31 January 2023 date seen on some sites is an item-schema field, not the release.

What is the rarest skin in the Revolution Case?

The 24 gloves are the rarest items, at a combined 0.26% per opening under the rates disclosed in 2017. Among weapon skins, the two Coverts, M4A4 | Temukau and AK-47 | Head Shot, share 0.64%.

How much is the Revolution Case?

$0.21 lowest listing and $0.22 median on 10 October 2026, both on the Steam Market. Opening one also needs a key, which players report at US$2.49.
